Description

Situated at a distance of about 1.2 km from the city of Rachakonda, the amazing Rachakonda Fort is a major tourist attraction in Hyderabad.

It is located in the Rachakonda Village in the Nalgonda district of the newly formed state of Telangana. The beautiful Fort was constructed way back in the 14th century by the ruler Recherla Singama Nayak who hailed from the Padma Nayaka dynasty. He ruled the region of Rachakonda and built many forts and fortresses. The style of architecture prevalent in those days is still evident in the remains from those times that are scattered across the city.

The fort is at a distance of about 66 km from the Nalgonda Bus Station and about 61 km from the main city of Hyderabad. It was once a capital to the Rachakonda kingdom. Subsequently, the region was ruled by many successive dynasties from the Kakatiyas, to Padma Nayakas and from Bahmani Sultans to the Qutub Shahi and finally the Nizams.

Cancellation Policy :
• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy :
•The applicable refund amount will be processed within 15 business days
