Osman Sagar is popularly called Gandipet by natives as well as tourists. This lake covers a land area of 46 square km. It is located in the city of Hyderabad. Its capacity is 3.9 tmc ft. Osman Sagar is one of the major tourist attractions of Hyderabad. There is a large number of parks, resorts, amusement parks, picnic spots, etc. It is majorly visited by families. The water from this lake is supplied as drinking water for Hyderabad regions and is considered as a reservoir. However, the water from this reservoir is not sufficient for the popular city of Hyderabad.

Thus this lake is the prominent water source of Hyderabad. This lake was created by Mir Osman Ali Khan in the year 1920 with the motive of supplying water purposes for drinking purposes for Hyderabad and Secunderabad. This lake is maintained by the Tourist department of the state Andhra Pradesh. Tourists who visit this lake can involve and entertain themselves in activities such as the picnic, bird watching, photography, overnight stay at “Sagar Mahal”, cafeterias, amusement parks, Boating, Swimming pools, etc.

Cancellation Policy :
• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy :
