Visit to Medak Fort

Description

This tour takes you on a day excursion to the Medak Fort which is a medieval wonder. It is situated in the Telangana state as is at an approximate distance of about 2 km from the Bus Station in Medak city. The fort is at a distance of about 95 km from Hyderabad. It is an important heritage monument that has now fallen within the territory of the newborn state of Telangana.

It is also an extremely important historical site. The fort was built by the rule of the Kakatiyan Dynasty; Pratapa Rudra.  The fort was built in the 12th century during the reign of the Kakatiyan Dynasty and thus it is a reminder of the country’s glorious past. It was also originally known as Methuku Durgam. You can reach the fort after a steep climb of about 500 steps to reach the top, where the fort is situated.

The fort is a grand one spread out over 100 acres on a hilly area. The architectural style is notable and represents a blend of Hindu and Islamic style of art and architecture.

Cancellation Policy :
• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy :
•The applicable refund amount will be processed within 15 business days
