Day 01: Saigon Arrival
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon) - the biggest city and also the financial hub of Vietnam. Enjoy a coffee while our staff helps you throughout the procedure to ensure everything goes smoothly and quickly - without a single hiccup!
Then our driver and guide will take you to your hotel for check-in and enjoy the rest of your day to recover from jet lag. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Saigon City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. You will have a full day to tour around the key sites of Saigon, crossing the busy streets of this dynamic city once called the "Pearl of the Far East". Start the tour with the Reunification Palace - the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975. Then we visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and the City Post Office. Next, we will take a visit to China Town and Thien Hau, Quan Am Pagodas.
In the afternoon, we continue our trip to the War Remnants Museum for a closer view of Vietnam and Saigon during wartime. Conclude the day with a visit to Ben Thanh market where a variety of products are sold. Drive back to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Saigon - Ben Tre - Can Tho
After breakfast at your hotel, our driver and guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to take you on a 2-hour drive to Ben Tre Province. Along the route, we will stop in Tien Giang for a short visit to the Vinh Trang Pagoda - an ancient southern architectural gem.
After we arrive in Hung Vuong Pier in Ben Tre, we will take a boat trip on the Ben Tre River – one of the tributaries of Mekong River, and observe lively activities such as fishing and water transfer. First stop will be local brickwork where bricks are made manually in the traditional way. Then we will visit one of the plenty of coconut processing workshops located along the canal. Then we disembark via boat; enjoy a leisure walk or bike ride to a local family for lunch.
In the afternoon, continue walking in a village that makes sleeping mats and then takes a relaxing rowboat along the palm creek and rows back to Hung Vuong Pier. Our driver will be waiting there to take you to your hotel in Can Tho for the night stay. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Fly to Phu Quoc
Breakfast at the hotel. Wake up early this morning and head to the famous Cai Rang floating market - a maze of hundreds of boats sailing around selling local food and products. This floating market is very different from the local markets you may see in other provinces of Vietnam - buyers can easily find the boat selling their desired products from a far distance as the boat owners will hang their items on long, vertical poles.
After leaving the floating market, our driver will take you to Can Tho Airport to catch your morning flight to Phu Quoc Island. After arriving in Phu Quoc, the resort's van will take you to your Fusion Resort for check-in. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Phu Quoc - Free at leisure
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is free at your leisure to enjoy Phu Quoc stunning beaches or stay in and enjoy the spa. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Phu Quoc - Free at leisure
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is free on the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Phu Quoc - Free at leisure
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is free on the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Phu Quoc - Fly to Saigon - Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. After saying goodbye to the secluded beaches of Phu Quoc, you will get on the plane to fly back to Saigon where your departure flight takes place.
