Day 01: Arrival - Antananarivo
Arrival in Antananarivo from abroad. Meet and greet, then transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Antananarivo – Andasibe
After breakfast, drive eastward to Andasibe through the typical landscape of the highland and the eastern rainforest. On the way, stop at the Peyreiras reptiles farm for observing different endemic species of chameleons, lizards, geckoes, frogs. Arrival in Andasibe by the end of the morning. In the afternoon, visit of the VOIMMA reserve. Evening walk for spotting nocturnal species as the mouse lemurs, chameleons, frogs. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Andasibe – Analamazaotra Reserve
Breakfast at the hotel, the morning walk within the Analamazaotra reserve for spotting the largest lemurs of Madagascar Indri Indri, which is the largest living lemur. Other lemur species might be spotted during the walk including the grey bamboo lemur, the endemic species of birds. Back to the hotel after the visit. In the afternoon, visit of Mitsinjo. If time allows, visit of Vakona private reserve including its small island for lemurs. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Andasibe - Manambato - Akanin'ny Nofy
Breakfast at the hotel. Then the continuation of the drive eastward to Manambato through the eastern rainforest with a landscape dominated by the Traveler palm or “Ravinia”. Arrival at Manambato. Boat transfer to Akanin’nyNofy. Upon arrival, installation at the hotel.Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Akanin’ny Nofy
Breakfast at the hotell. Day free at leisure. A possibility of visiting the Palmarium reserve or visiting the local villages. In the evening, the nocturnal visit to discover the smallest lemurs of Madagascar: AYE AYE. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Akanin’ny Nofy - Tamatave
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. At the beginning of the afternoon, boat transfer to Tamatave through the Pangalanes channel. Arrival at the fluvial port, meet and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, city tour of the town. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Tamatave – Antananarivo (Possibility to do an extension to Sainte Marie Island)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and flight to Antananarivo. Meet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Antananarivo – Flight Back Home
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and possibility to do the last shopping depending on the flight.
