Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival

Arrival to International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan

Breakfast. Take a trip to Garni. This Pagan Temple built in the 1st century AD. It is the only temple that has been preserved from the Pagan times in Armenia. It was devoted to the god Mihr, who was the god of cleanness. In 1679 it was destroyed by an earthquake. In 1975 the Temple was restored. Then we will continue our trip to Geghard Monastery. Its name came from the legendary lance that was used to pierce the body of Christ. It has been kept here for centuries. Though the exact foundation of the monastery is unknown, the present complex was built in the mid – 13th century. Get back to Yerevan and overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Yerevan - Sevan - Tsaghkadzor - Sadakhlo

Breakfast. Visit Lake Sevan. Visit the Sevanavank monastery from where you will enjoy a breathtaking view. Visit mountainousTsgahkadzor, a spa town, and a popular health resort. Also, you may take ropeway and admire the breathtaking nature, of Tsgahkadzor.  Visit Kecharischurch. Head to Armenian Georgian Border Sadakhlo. Change of guide and bus. Head to Tbilisi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Tbilisi City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Tbilisi - (literally "Warm Spring") is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Mtkvari  River.  Founded in the 5th century by VakhtangGorgasali, the Georgian King of Iberia, and made into a capital in the 6th century, Tbilisi is a significant industrial, social and cultural center.  Located strategically at the crossroads between Europe and Asia and lying along the historic Silk Road routes, Tbilisi has often been a point of contention between various rival powers and empires. The history of the city can be seen in its architecture. Overnight at hotel.

Places to visit:

Old town: Metechi church and the statue of kingVakhtangGorgasali (founder of Tbilisi -5th century); Abanotubani – is the ancient district of Tbilisi, known for its sulfuric baths; Narikala fortress is an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi. Shardenstreet- modern street in Tbilisi with coffee-shops. Bridge of Peace -is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge. The bridge was designed by the Italian architect (2010). Drive to the Mtatsminda park -  is a family amusement facility, offering a splendid view over the city. By bus/car  ShotaRustaveli Avenue- main avenue of Tbilisi and Liberty square. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 05:  Mtskheta – Ananuri - Gudauri

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mtskheta - one of the oldest cities of the country of Georgia, was capital of the early Georgian kingdom of Iberia during the 3rd century BC - 5th century AD and it was the site of early Christian activity. Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) and Jvari Monastery (6th century). Drive to Ananuri. Visit Ananuri  (17th century)  is a castle complex on the Aragvi River. Drive to Gudauri. Tour along historical Georgian Military Road. Gudauri-  is a ski resort (2000 meters above the sea level)  located on the southern slopes of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. Drive back to Tbilisi. Visit Shopping Mall. Free time for shopping.Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 06: Departure

After breakfast transfer to the Tbilisi International Airport to catch a flight.
