Description

Saramsa Garden is yet another prominent tourist attraction in Gangtok. The garden is a titanic stretch of immense scenic beauty which is located at a distance of about 14kms from Gangtok, near Ranipool. The place is perfect for casual outings, relaxation and recreation; not to mention about the couples in love. Established in 1922 by the Sikkim Forest Department with the purpose of fruits vegetation, this place has evolved in time to be a lot more now. Apart from the regular fruits like bananas and pineapples, this garden also has a medicinal plant species called Carapichea ipecacuanha, after which the garden has been nicknamed as the Ipecac Garden. Later, due to liability issues, growing the medicinal plants was discontinued, and many other flowering plants such as Orchids were introduced.

The place also has provisions for private meetings and conferences in the Convention Center created by the Govt.  The garden has a section in the front which has a beautiful little footbridge on a pool and a garden with plenty of circumventing small plants beautifully crafted in different designs and shapes. This garden is very popular for its outlandish orchids and many other rare species of flowering plants. This place is a sure treat to your eyes.

Confirmation Policy:
The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking Rate is based on a minimum 2 person sharing. We reserve the right to cancel in case the minimum no. of customers required for the visit on any date is not met.

Cancellation Policy:
• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy:
•The applicable refund amount will be processed within 15 business days
