This city was founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar during 1571 and was named after the village of Sikri. Archeological Survey of India excavated this site during 1999-2000 and found the rich crop of Jain statutes and other antique materials which was around 1000 years old.

People from all walks of life irrespective of caste, creed and religion enter this district and step into this UNESCO world heritage site. This city is called as “City of Victory” after Akbar’s victorious Gujarat campaign in the year 1573. Buland Darwaza which is 54m high entrance is a showstopper and architectural marvel. Akbar started constructing this site during 1569 in honour of the Chisti saint Sheikh Salim who had predicted the birth of his son Jahangir. There are several monuments inside the imperial complex and all of them are nothing but wonders of the world.

• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
