DAY 01 - ARRIVE PARO TO THIMPHU (STAY AT DUSIT D2- D` LIGHT, THIMPHU)
Arrive Paro, meet assist at the airport & straight drive Thimphu, on arrival check in at Hotel. Thimphu- The capital town of Bhutan and the centre of government, religion and commerce, Thimphu is a unique city with unusual mixture of modern development alongside ancient traditions. With the population of about 90,000 it is perhaps still the world’s only capital city without a traffic light. Afternoon an exploratory walk around Thimphu main street and market area. Night stay in Thimphu.
DAY 02 – IN THIMPHU
After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Thimpu including visit to BBS Tower or the view point, Memorial Chorten, SAARC Building, India House, Handicraft School, Memorial Chorten, Simtokha Dzong. Buddha Point (KuenselPhodrang). Located at a short drive from Thimphu city centre, visitors can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley from the Buddha point (KuenselPhodrang). You can pay your obeisance and offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley. Textile Museum: is worth a visit to get to know the living national art of weaving. Exhibitions introduce the major weaving techniques, styles of local dress and textiles made by women and men. Night stay in Thimphu.
DAY 03 – THIMPHU TO PARO (STAY LE MERIDIEN, PARO)
After breakfast depart by surface to Paro. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon excursion to Taktshang Monastery (5hrs hike): It is one of the most famous of Bhutan’s monasteries, perched on the side of a cliff 900m above the Paro valley floor. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hence it is called ‘Tiger’s Nest’. This site has been recognized as a most sacred place and visited by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1646 and now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. On 19 April 1998, a fire severely damaged the main structure of building but now this Bhutanese jewel has been restored to its original splendor. Along the way, visit the 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King, Songtsen Gampo. The building of this temple marks the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan. Night stay in Paro.
DAY 04 – DEPART FROM PARO
In time transfer to airport to board connecting flight for onward destination.

Excellent trip! Visited beautiful sites, learned about the history and culture and had delicious food, while staying in luxurious accommodations. Days were full and interesting. Overall, this was a great tour and is highly recommended.

A good company and great people to deal with! Extensive knowledge of the locations and ability to change an itinerary to suit changing circumstances. The entire trip was wonderfully organized and all arrangements were precisely executed according to the plan. Really enjoyed my trip and totally recommend it.

The tour was a great experience . Hotels were excellent , guides were very good , the driver very accommodating and helping and the car for the whole trip was very comfortable . We did not feel in a rush anytime and we hit all the main spots in the cities we visit . The relation quality price is unbeatable. Definitely I recommend this company for a great trip Bhutan
